On the Eddyline is a place where kayakers get an adrenaline rush and fishermen anticipate a good catch. It is the interface between a calm, deep pool and a roiling, turbulent current. We experience eddylines in our lives so often! Thinking we will be at rest in a calm pool, we are suddenly swept up in some disaster and taken where we do not want to go!  But the serenity of faith – represented by the bowl in which all this activity takes place, reassures us that all will be well eventually.
