Description
I’ve always been fascinated with the art of Ikebana and how the asymmetry of the flower arrangement completes the symmetry of the vessel. I followed the recent eruption of Kilauea in Hawai’i closely and saw an image of a light house just past the newly-formed lava rock spilling into the sea. That gave me the idea for this work.
