Description
This piece reminds me of a small volcanic cone. As it happens, the only active volcano in Colorado — “active” meaning it has erupted within the last 10,000 years — is Dotsero, right outside the tiny town by the same name. A local geologist commented on Dotsero saying if any volcano could be considered “cute” this would be it, since it’s really a baby. Well, Yellowstone was once a baby, too, right?
